Welcome everyone to August&Mac226;s edition of "Driven in 2005." We hope you’ve all had a cool and pleasant summer. Now that summer is almost over, it’s time to get back to business. The Hindu Monk Kirpal Venanji once said, "Each time you judge yourself, you break your heart." You can do anything you set your mind to; remain focused and devoted. Put in the dedication and you’ll reap
the celebration. If you are an independent filmmaker, director, producer, screenwriter, actor, etc. then this site is for you. From time to time, I’ll feature stories from those in the industry that want to share career advice and words of wisdom. If you are in the film industry and want to be recognized or give tips, by all means, contact me at:

Bobby Peoples of the Peoples Film Company

First, I'd like to start off by saying, "It takes a lot of patience, dedication, and true heart to step out on faith and fulfill your heart’s desires. Many people say what they’d like to do, I salute those that actually put one foot in front of the other and actually do it! I’d like to introduce you all to someone who’s defiantly "Driven in 2005!" Mr. Bobby Peoples of "The Peoples Film Company."

His name may escape you but you’ve probably seen some of his work. From screenwriter, director, producer, production assistant, production secretary, actor, etc. Bobby Peoples is a man of many talents. We at salute all pioneers in the pursuit of filmmaking. Without your ingenious talent and vision, there will be no future - only a past for black films.

Bobby Peoples always dreamed about entering the entertainment business. After his stint in the US Army, Bobby decided to actively pursue his goal and enter the acting arena. After being rejected on several acting gigs, he entered film school and studied the art & craft of music and video production. He has done several projects for Dreamworks, Touchstone Pictures, New Millennium, to name a few. Bobby continued to have faith in his career and eventually became the captain on his own destiny thus heading his own flagship, "The Peoples Film Company." A place where he could write, produce, direct, not only his own work but to aid others who cannot find the talent or resources to enter into the business.

Bobby’s latest release, "For thy Love" is currently out on release. (Synopsis) After five years of sexual frustration Belinda Warner decides that a little infidelity would be a much better fit to her relationship.
