Sadly, John Singleton's Higher Learning  isn't the fine quality of his Oscar-nominated Boyz In The Hood. Happily, Higher Learning  isn't as disappointing as his Poetic Justice.      Singleton takes his audience on a subtle tour of incoming college students being recruited into the campus social group. Of course there is always one student who just doesn't fit in, and finds friendship with extremists.      Fishburn plays a wise-old professor who tries to open his students eyes to different social and ethnic groups.      Higher Learning is filled with stereotypes, but it's message is excellent.
