Van Peebles plays big city bounty hunter working for the DEA who comes to South America to kill a drug dealer responsible for his father's death. There are a few chuckles and of course, with a Van Peebles' flick, the stunts and action are first rate. However, the continuing problem with Van Peebles' movies are that he needs smarter and tighter scripts.      Other than the smartly written New Jack City, Van Peebles' film scripts often times come off flat and lame -- no exception here.
