  Volkswagon driver Kevin Ackerman filed a claim on January 23, 1998 against actress Halle Berry. Ackerman is claiming "injury to his body and shock and injury to his nervous system and person," caused by Berry when the actress' Range Rover ran into his '87 Volkswagen on L.A.'s Sunset Boulevard February 6, 1997.

  Ackerman isn't specifying a monetary demand, but he contends the accident continues to cause [him] "great mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering."

  Despite the time lag, no hearing has been scheduled by the court.
